This full bathroom renovation included a total redesign. 

The customers brief:

Create a traditional and minimalistic style bathroom. Maintaining a practical and functional space for their teenage children to use.

Our team then went to work to design a bathroom that fit the customers brief whilst also keeping within their budget.

As with all our projects it is important to all of us at Aurora Plumbing and Heating to pay attention to the finer details.  This bathroom was also going to be used as a guest bathroom as it had a Jack and Jill style layout.  The use of the two basins gave the added functionality that fit the customers needs, enhancing the style of the room in the process.

Project Details

This project was a full central heating system modernisation. 

The customers brief:

Create an efficient central heating and hot water system that not only fully heated their home but also allowed enough capacity for their large families hot water needs.

The project required removal of the old boiler, gravity heating tank, gravity cold water storage tanks and a vented hot water cylinder that was far too small for the hot water needs of the customer.

Once all the old components were removed our Aurora Plumbing and Heating engineers set to work installing the new 'S' Plan central heating system with a 500 Litre unvented hot water cylinder.

Again attention to detail was at the heart of everything we do.  The customer had mentioned that on the top floor of their house they had to wait a long time for hot water to come out of the outlets with the old system.  To combat this we installed a new pumped secondary hot water return with the new system.  We also installed a programme for this to work at peak times to maximise efficiency.

Alongside the boiler and cylinder install we also replaced all of the old radiators that were very inefficient and ineffective at heating the house. They were also unsightly and not in fitting with the beauiful decor around the customer's home.
